What you can expect before treatment begins

Sports therapy is beneficial for all athletes, whether it is a long-term solution for better performance, injury rehabilitation or prevention. 

When you come into our clinic, our therapists will map out the treatment plan according to whether an athlete requires treatment for pre-event or post-event.

Pre-event Sports Massage (Administered 48-72 hours before an event)

A deep tissue massage may be an ideal way to release any tension from the intense training. A lighter intensity of massage would be ideal 1-2 days before the event to help warm up the body, increase blood supply and help the athlete to relax, while avoiding soreness on event day.

Post-event Sports Massage (Administered within 72 hours after event)

Massage techniques are employed to increase blood circulation, remove metabolic waste and calm muscles after activity. Therapists will use light-pressured techniques and passive stretching to help treat and prevent the onset of muscle fatigue and tightness.
